After graduating from a local school, he joined 2056srl (m.a+, m.a. cross) in 2008. He worked as an assistant pattern maker for Maurizio Amadi, and after returning to Japan, he launched his own label "taichimurakami" in 2013. The collection, which uses all original fabrics selected from raw materials, is made with uncompromising craftsmanship, not only in patterning but also in everything from buttons to stitching, in pursuit of originality that is constantly updated.
